How do alerts enter RivetMinder?

The current product accepts alerts logged in the authenticated inbox and historical alert CSV imports. Each alert preserves its site and equipment context, severity, status, notes, and source so the operating record stays tied to the right asset.

How are work orders created and tracked?

Accepted Answer

An inbox alert can be converted into a work order, with the source alert retained for context. The work order tracks priority, technician, status (Open, In progress, or Closed), notes, expected close, downtime, labor estimate, parts, a repair checklist, and attachments where those fields are shown.

Can I schedule or reassign a technician?

Accepted Answer

Assign an open job to an active technician and set a site, date, and time window. Work-order assignment can be changed later; overlapping windows for the same technician are rejected. RivetMinder does not currently promise dispatch notifications or calendar integrations.

Question 4

What happens to a parts request after it is submitted?

A sourcing request moves through Requested, Ordered, Shipped, Received, or Delayed. It records the part number, supplier, quantity, and expected arrival. This is separate from parts recorded as used on an individual work order.

Question 5

What is the difference between Reports and Equipment health?

Reports are the cross-site operating view: downtime, repair cost, open work, and recurring failures. Equipment health is the asset-level view, with 12-period downtime trends, failure groups, resolution and downtime summaries, and risk flags for a specific piece of equipment.

Can I import CSVs, and is there a template?

Yes. The current dashboard has separate CSV flows for alert history, equipment, and the technician roster. Each flow provides a downloadable template, maps common headers where supported, previews rows, validates the required fields, reports row-level errors, and returns imported and skipped results. Imports are limited to 5,000 data rows per file; the required fields depend on the flow, so these are guided imports rather than arbitrary spreadsheet ingestion.

How does RivetMinder pricing and billing work?

Accepted Answer

Solo is $79/month or $790/year. Crew is $179/month or $1,790/year, with two months free annually. Multi-Site is scoped to the operation. Current calls to action go to signup or contact; in-app Stripe checkout is not installed, and this page does not add terms for taxes, refunds, trials, or cancellation.

Who owns my data, and can I export it?

Your organization owns the operational data it enters into RivetMinder. The current dashboard supports CSV imports but does not include a self-serve export control. For an export request, use the existing “Talk to the desk” contact.
